Honoring a labor of love
Marian’s Labor & Delivery Triage named in honor of Dr. and Mrs. James D. Cusack
On June 4, 2024, Marian Regional Medical Center unveiled the new Labor and Delivery Triage entrance named in honor of Dr. and Mrs. James D. Cusack.
Dr. Jim Cusack is known for his incredible dedication as a longtime OB/GYN physician in Santa Maria for more than 40 years, delivering thousands of infants throughout his career. Furthermore, Jim’s many professional accomplishments were made possible by the unconditional support of his loving wife, Maureen.
Being married for more than 65 years is a rare and extraordinary milestone. Dr. Cusack and Maureen’s marriage represents the epitome of love and devotion to family. The couple’s commitment to each other and their growing family is their greatest joy as their lasting legacy continues through their five children, 13 grandchildren, and 26 (and counting) great-grandchildren.
Marian Regional Medical Center is grateful to the Cusack family for their significant support, and it is an honor for the hospital’s Labor & Delivery Triage Entrance to bear the esteemed names of Dr. and Mrs. James D. Cusack.
At the recent unveiling ceremony, Sue Andersen, President & CEO of Marian Regional Medical Center, shared, “There is no question that the Cusack family exudes humankindness in everything that they do. On behalf of the entire Marian team, we thank the Cusack family for supporting local OB/GYN patients and our hospital’s OB/GYN Residency Program.”
