Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation Receives $2 Million Donation
Recent $2 million gift from an anonymous donor will fund an endowment in support of advanced and innovative technologies at Marian
Marian Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that the Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation recently received a $2 million philanthropic gift.
The donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, made the decision to support quality health care in Santa Maria in a very significant and impactful way. As a result, the Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors has approved the use of the $2 million donation to create an endowment, titled the Advanced Technology and Innovation Endowment Fund, which will provide for the continued acquisition of leading-edge medical equipment and technology, now and in the future.
“The health care of all community members is essential and the anonymous benefactor’s intention to support the advancement of Marian’s medical technology for current and future generations makes this gift truly transformative,” states Sue Andersen, President and CEO, Marian Regional Medical Center. “This impactful contribution comes at a much needed time as local residents’ health care needs continue to grow at a rapid pace. Through the Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation’s newly established Advanced Technology and Innovation Endowment Fund, members of the public can contribute to the Fund to support the hospital’s investment in medical equipment and technological breakthroughs.
