Cancer not only affects those with the disease; it affects an entire community. This is why Marian Regional Medical Center, in partnership with the Santa Maria Times, is proud to present the sixth annual Day of Hope on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

Join hundreds of neighbors from Santa Maria, Nipomo, Orcutt, Lompoc, and Santa Ynez as we sell $1.00 Day of Hope Santa Maria Times newspapers. Get involved by organizing a team, purchasing newspapers, or making a donation to support the cause.

As always, every dollar will directly benefit Marian Cancer Care patients at Mission Hope Cancer Center.

Here are three you can help support Day of Hope:

• Sponsor Day of Hope — We invite our business leaders to support this exceptional community event that benefits local cancer patients.

• Lead a Day of Hope Team — Join your neighbors and create a Day of Hope team. Through using our team fundraising feature, you will be able to invite friends and family to donate to your team before April 10.

• Give to Day of Hope — Give hope to local cancer patients and their families by making a meaningful gift for Day of Hope.

• Patient Outreach Needs—Meeting the needs of patients and families struggling to make ends meet

• Equipment & Technology—Acquisition of the most advanced medical treatments and technologies to better serve the community

• Programs & Services— Nutritional support, education, counseling, support groups, etc., all offered at no charge to patients and families

On March 24, 2019, you are invited to learn about The Legion of Marian, a women's giving society. This special celebratory event will introduce the mission and vision of this new giving society on the Central Coast benefiting Marian Regional Medical Center.
