Marian Regional Medical Center TAVR 2024

Cardiac Cath Lab at Marian Regional Performs 100th TAVR Procedure

In January 2023, the Dignity Health Cardiac Cath Lab conducted its first TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) procedure at Marian Regional Medical Center. The TAVR procedure is minimally-invasive work performed on cardiac patients needing to replace a narrowed aortic valve that is failing to open properly (aortic stenosis).

As of September 2024, we’re proud to share that our cardiac team has performed 100 TAVR procedures! The milestone represents our continued commitment to innovation as well as our steadfast pursuit of high-quality outcomes in recovery. The team celebrated their accomplishment together and look forward to the next cutting edge technologies that await in the future. Congratulations!
